The main objective of the project is to promote civic engagement among young people by empowering them to use new technologies (such as social media, websites and apps) to raise awareness about social issues and engage in active participation. In doing so, we aim to foster a more informed and proactive youth that feels confident in utilizing digital tools to advocate for change. The specific objectives of the project include: - Equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use digital tools for raising awareness on important social issues, thereby encouraging them to become digital ambassadors for causes they believe in. - Developing participants' digital literacy with a focus on the practical application of creating simple tools, such as websites and apps, to help them engage in meaningful online actions and projects. - Engaging young people in discussions about civic participation and democracy, fostering a deeper understanding of how technology can be leveraged to promote active participation in modern society and create positive social change. - Promoting intercultural exchange by bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to collaborate, share ideas and build stronger youth networks for future collaborations. This will help enhance mutual understanding and empower young people to work together on common goals. Through these objectives, the project aims to strengthen the role of youth work by equipping young people with the tools and knowledge to be active, informed citizens in an increasingly digital world. The ultimate goal is to create a lasting impact on both the individual participants and their communities, contributing to a more engaged, connected and socially responsible youth generation.
