This project aims to address the well-being and personal development needs of young people by equipping them with tools to navigate crisis situations, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. By fostering self-awareness, social awareness, and body awareness, the project seeks to empower participants to develop mindfulness, connect with diverse peers, and engage actively in their communities. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project will: - Create safe, inclusive spaces for young people to express themselves and explore their emotional needs, - use non-formal learning methodologies, such as water sports, creative arts, and performances, to encourage experiential learning and reflection, - enhance key competencies like emotional intelligence, collaboration, and adaptability through intercultural dialogue and group activities, and - promote sustainable habits such as daily mindfulness routines, fostering long-term personal growth. Through two carefully designed youth exchanges in Madeira and Dortmund the project will encourage participants to understand their potential to influence both their personal well-being and their environments, ultimately inspiring them to lead positive change in their communities.
