The Path2Wellness project aims to empower young people by promoting mental well-being through Outdoor Education and non-formal learning experiences. By bringing together 30 participants from six European countries, the project provides a supportive space for participants to explore practical strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and improving their mental health through nature-based activities. The project focuses on youth engagement, inclusion, and personal development. Participants will gain practical knowledge about mental well-being, develop key interpersonal skills such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, and experience the benefits of outdoor activities on their emotional and physical health. Through experiential learning, they will build new habits that promote a healthy, active, and mindful lifestyle. A key objective is to introduce young people—particularly those who have never participated in Erasmus+ exchanges before—to international mobility opportunities and encourage further engagement in youth work. The project fosters cross-cultural exchange, helping participants develop an appreciation for diversity, European solidarity, and environmental responsibility. By implementing Path2Wellness, we aim to enhance youth work practices by integrating Outdoor Education and mental health awareness into non-formal education. The project will serve as a learning model for youth organizations, equipping them with innovative approaches to engage young people in mental health advocacy and outdoor-based learning. Additionally, it will strengthen the capacity of newcomer youth organizations, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in international youth work and Erasmus+ project implementation. Through this initiative, we strive to create a long-lasting impact, inspiring young people to take active roles in their communities, continue practicing well-being strategies, and engage in future youth work and Erasmus+ opportunities.
