The “AI in rAInbow community” project successfully have been implemented in Dortmund Germany back in 13-22 December 2025 and strengthened young people in the area of digital media literacy and enabled them to actively participate in shaping inclusive spaces in virtuality. A particular focus was placed on familiarizing young people with various digital tools and artificial intelligence as a means of empowering LGBT+ youth. The workshop demonstrated how conscious and reflective digital participation can promote inclusion and active involvement in online spaces. The project promoted inclusion and participation, particularly by strengthening self-expression and community building in the digital space. In addition to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, we also made digital rights visible and accessible to our participants. Our aim was therefore also to address existing knowledge gaps in the digital media landscape and fill them with relevant information. The project has equipped participants with the skills to consciously and responsibly navigate digital spaces, enabling them to balance creative digital engagement with reflective and healthy use of online media.
