Objectives

We wanted to make our youth work more useful in real life, not just “nice on paper”. In our daily work we keep seeing the same issues: young people feel pushed out, discrimination is normalised in some spaces, and volunteering is often seen as “not for me”. So the project was built to help youth workers respond better to these situations and to turn European values into concrete actions with young people. Our objectives were simple and practical: Build youth workers’ confidence and skills to promote inclusion and deal with exclusion/discrimination in youth settings. Give them ready-to-use non-formal methods (activities, formats, facilitation tools) they can apply directly after going home. Strengthen the idea and practice of intergenerational volunteering—not as a theory, but as something participants can design and run locally. Create stronger cooperation between the partner organisations, so good practices and future joint work become easier and more natural.
