SOUL is built on Non-Formal Education, Learning by Doing, and Experiential Learning methodologies, fostering a long-term process where participants share and learn from each other. These proven methods are highly effective for learning, and we will implement targeted workshops based on identified needs. The project brings together diverse backgrounds, expertise, and perspectives, to create an enriching, intercultural, and productive environment where participants can learn, teach, and share skills. For youth workers, SOUL provides an opportunity to grow their abilities, express themselves, and develop key skills to support young people. The project integrates upcycling, handcrafting, experiential learning, and DIY, supported by artists, facilitators, and youth workers. This approach positions youth workers as role models who empower young people to take an active role in their communities. Recognizing the need for methodologies that engage young people in a relatable way, SOUL develops innovative, modern and impactful NFE methodologies. All partners emphasize empowering young people and placing them at the centre of positive societal change. By using handcrafting, upcycling, DIY, and artistic expression, we address key needs such as social inclusion, self-expression, and reclaiming youth spaces, transforming marginalized areas into creative environments. This participatory approach is vital for community transformation. The project guarantees a safe, inclusive, and creative space where collaboration, respect, and trust are essential elements. Participants will work in an atmosphere of positive co-creation and support. DOPE and its partners will actively adapt the project to meet participants' specific needs, to make sure no one is left behind. SOUL will also allow Youth Workers to gain skills in planning and organizing social and cultural events. Identified through online discussions, this need is integrated into the project, equipping them with practical event management skills. Additionally, SOUL will improve professionalization, empowerment, and awareness of Erasmus+ opportunities among youth workers, expanding their career prospects.
