Objectives

The Greencademy Training Course 3rd Edition is a professional development initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of youth workers in sustainability education, regenerative agriculture, and green entrepreneurship. This project builds on the success of previous Greencademy editions from 2023 and 2024 and seeks to provide a structured learning environment where youth workers can acquire practical skills, expand their professional networks, and develop innovative methodologies for engaging young people in environmental initiatives. The project aims to equip youth workers with essential green skills that will enable them to support young people in sustainable entrepreneurship, regenerative agriculture, and environmental education. It also seeks to strengthen the connection between EU sustainability policies, such as the Green Deal and the Common Agricultural Policy, and youth work by ensuring that young people can engage with these policies through practical action. Additionally, the project will develop new tools and methodologies for non-formal sustainability education, helping youth workers integrate ecological pedagogy into their programs. Another key objective is to expand an international network of youth educators and practitioners, fostering long-term collaborations for green initiatives across Europe. The project also promotes inclusivity in the green transition by ensuring that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to sustainability education and opportunities. The Greencademy Training Course 3rd Edition aligns with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program by contributing to lifelong learning, inclusion, digitalisation, and environmental sustainability. The training will have a lasting impact by embedding sustainability education into youth work, fostering cross-border collaboration, and ensuring that youth workers are equipped to empower the next generation in the green transition.
