The ambition of this project is to make training in entrepreneurship more accessible for socially disadvantaged youth. In EU in general, and Denmark in particular, we are missing out on a large proportion of young entrepreneurs, even though we as youth workers meet many young people, who would like to start their own business or project. You need a set of competences in order to succeed as an entrepreneur and disadvantaged youth in particular face many obstacles on the way to success. In this project the project partners will make training more accessible and motivating for this target group in order to overcome some of these obstacles. By introducing more than 40 young persons to Digital Social Entrepreneur skills we will introduce an entrepreneurial spirit in local youth in Denmark and Turkey, that will lead the participants to initiate their own enterprises and seek further education as entrepreneurs. By building up the competences of the participants we wish to empower them to engage as active citizens, by initiating projects that have an impact on their societies. In the course of the project we also aim to build up the capacity of both organisations to conduct high-quality trainings for youth. Both organisations will expand their knowledge of teaching methods and the specific topic of entrepreneurship and personal leadership development.
