The project's purpose is to strengthen young people's intercultural understanding, social engagement, and leadership skills through international collaboration. By working together with Icelandic youth, participants will develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while gaining insight into different cultures and youth perspectives. Through exchanges, online collaboration, and activities with a common goal, the project will provide young people with the opportunity to take initiative, create meaningful projects, and understand how international cooperation can function between two youth groups. The overall goal is to promote active citizenship, personal development, and long-term international connections that benefit both individuals and youth work. Additionally, the project aims to be an eye-opener for young people, showing them that as Danish or Icelandic teenagers, they are not alone in facing certain challenges. Instead, they live in a globalized world where youth share many similarities and common traits despite national differences.
