Objectives

The project aims to enhance youth workers' capacities for impactful contributions to environmental education, sustainable development, and the promotion of green practices at the grassroots level through youth involvement tailored to their respective national contexts in Europe. The project's specific objectives include: • Empowering youth workers from rural areas with a comprehensive understanding of climate change, sustainable development, and waste management. Providing insights into the latest EU policy developments and international commitments to ensure the information remains current and up-to-date; • Advancing the advocacy skills of youth workers, empowering them to serve as multipliers, and initiating new projects within local communities that advocate for youth participation in environmental protection issues. The focus is on integrating green and sustainable development practices into youth work; • Facilitating effective coordination among youth workers and promoting the exchange of successful European practices in green initiatives, waste management, and sustainable development integrated into youth work; • Developing a comprehensive guide summarizing and sharing successful practices for broader dissemination. This guide provides a resource for youth workers, ensuring consistency in the approach to green practices and sustainable development across Europe.
