Objectives

The project aims to enhance adult education by offering teachers and learners international mobilities to explore innovative teaching methods and develop socio-emotional skills. The focus is on improving teachers' ability to manage diverse classes, boosting learner engagement and motivation, creating a more flexible and effective learning environment. It will lead to better well-being and confidence among teachers, while also strengthening the school’s capacity to meet the needs of adult education.

Background

Põlva Gymnasium is applying for support to address the challenges of adult education: heterogeneous classes, limited contact schooldays, and learners' lack of independence. Traditional methods are ineffective for learners with diverse levels and needs, so teachers require innovative methodologies and socio-emotional skills. The school lacks the resources to conduct the necessary training series and incorporate international expertise. Therefore, it was decided to apply for support.
