Similarities between the Oslo and Tartu observatories mean that we can take inspiration from them regarding the content of their educational programs as well as how they utilize their rooms. We wish to see examples of modern science education and exhibitions in Barcelona so that we can gain knowledge to better advance our own programs and exhibitions. At the Brno planetarium festival we will learn about the possibilities of modern planetariums as well as older, optical planetarium machines.
The Erasmus+ financial aid projekt is a great way to get funding for study mobility. Wishing to be on par with other European museums, we need to experience and take inspiration from other cultural and popular science institutions in the European Union. This project is just what we need to raise the quality of our Old Observatory's educational activities and new exhibition. Through that we can better bring out the values of the European Union, Erasmus+ and our own institution.
