The main aim of the project is to develop key skills of self-expression, critical thinking, intercultural communication and social engagement in young people through theatre practices and creative non-formal learning methods. The objectives of the project from a youth work perspective are: DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATION AND CREATIVE SKILLS - Participants will improve their public speaking, acting, self-presentation and teamwork skills. - They will learn how to apply these skills in their studies, career and social life. STRENGTHENING INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE - The project brings together young people from Estonia, Turkey and Bulgaria, which contributes to breaking stereotypes, building respect for cultural diversity and developing tolerance. - Participants will be involved in international teams where they will be able to practise intercultural skills. STIMULATING SOCIAL ACTIVITY AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT - Through theatre performances, participants will be able to explore current social topics (inclusion, youth rights, active citizenship) and find new forms of expression. - The project will have an impact not only on the participants but also on the local community, as the results of the work (productions, discussions) will be presented in schools, youth centres and cultural spaces. CREATING SUSTAINABLE YOUTH INITIATIVES - Participants will gain experience of working in an international team, which will help them to initiate new youth projects, including Erasmus+ initiatives. - Upon completion of the project, they will be able to pass on what they have learnt to other young people. INCREASED CONFIDENCE AND MOTIVATION FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT - Through creative activities, participants will be able to fulfil their potential, increase their self-esteem and confidence in their abilities. - They will learn to overcome stage fright, express themselves effectively and be confident in public speaking. DIGITAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Participants will be involved in the creation of videos, online diaries and digital content, which will help them gain useful skills in working with digital tools. LONG-TERM IMPACT ON YOUNG PEOPLE - The project will create a basis for long-term personal and professional development, building active citizens who will participate in public life even after the project ends.
