The project was created to address the need for young people to gain essential financial literacy skills in an increasingly digital world. Many young people face challenges when it comes to budgeting, saving, and making informed financial decisions, especially as digital payments, online platforms, and new technologies shape their everyday lives. The main objective of the project was to equip participants with practical knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage their personal finances responsibly. At the same time, the project aimed to encourage critical thinking about opportunities and risks in the digital economy, such as online payments, consumerism, and financial scams. Through non-formal education methods, we also wanted to strengthen young people’s teamwork, creativity, and intercultural dialogue by bringing together participants from different countries. Finally, the project aimed to promote the use of the Youthpass framework to help participants reflect on their learning and connect financial literacy with wider goals such as sustainable living and active citizenship.
