This project aims to develop young people's independence, time management, teamwork, and environmental awareness, while also promoting the understanding and appreciation of different food cultures. Through shared cooking experiences, sessions and cultural evenings, participants have the opportunity to experience and value cultural diversity, reducing prejudices. The project provides practical skills and knowledge for efficient and healthy meal planning, managing food portions, and reducing food waste, supporting personal growth and encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle. As a result, participants become more confident and aware of their food choices, acquire the skills to prepare nutrient-rich meals, and value healthy and sustainable living. The developed teamwork and social skills help them grow personally and prepare for further life and future careers. The international connections established through the project and openness to new experiences can significantly influence their worldview and career choices.
