By implementing this project Dracon wished to offer a pathway to our volunteers and members to enhance their understanding of the needs of people with ID and the various groups connected to them (family members, pshychologists, trainers), so that we can in effect enhance the services offered to our local target groups and associated partners, as well as increase Dracon's effectiveness in participating in larger projects on the scope of ID.
The project aimed to enhance our volunteer group's skills and knowledge on the field of Intellectual Disability, ensuring that our services and efforts are best focused on and adjusted to the needs of people with ID. Dracon is active in the field of board game design, and through our social face we are active also in the field of ID, in collaboration with local institutions. Our volunteers and members take part in game-relevant activities which help people with ID socialize and learn.
