Objectives

The RETAIN project aims to develop an integrated blended learning system to maximize learner retention. The main objectives include: (1) Green Digital Transformation with an Emphasis on Learner Retention and Social Inclusion (2) Development of Sustainable Blended Learning Models through Training Assignment and (3) Strengthening European Cooperation and Reducing Attrition through Best Practices and Digital Tools.

Background

AKADIMOS KDVM has submitted an application for the RETAIN project aimed at addressing the high dropout rate (40%) in online adult education programs. The needs assessment revealed significant gaps in digital skills (75%) and limited use of interactive content (30%). Through international collaborations with Norway, the Netherlands, and Italy, we aim to develop sustainable blended learning models and enhance the digital interactive skills of both staff and learners.
