The aim of the ESAESIC project is to strengthen EPIONI's capacity to support informal caregivers of individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Through educational visits to Brussels (Eurocarers) and Rome (ACROSS), and a learning activity in Cyprus (Shipcon), we seek to improve collaboration, gain insights into European policies, and develop skills in writing and implementing European programs, thereby enhancing the organization's sustainability and effectiveness.
The Greek Carers Network EPIONI needs to strengthen its advocacy for carers' rights through a better understanding of support policies and collaboration strategies. Improvement in training and skill development for grant writing and project management is required. Networking with European organizations and exchanging best practices is valuable for enhancing educational activities and organizational development.
