The achievement of the following objectives through the mobility of VET apprentices in the Health Sector: Objective 1: A knowledge and skills upgrading program for students, with an emphasis on Digital Technologies and the Management of Geriatric Patients. Objective 2: Connecting the school with businesses in the Health Sector, particularly Elderly Care Units and Clinics. Objective 3: Practical training in modern European work environments in the field of Geriatric Care.
The Protypo EPAL Peramatos aims to address the challenges in the field of Health Sciences by highlighting the following needs for its students: 1. The growing demand and simultaneous shortage of healthcare professionals specialized in geriatric patient care. 2. The difficulty in finding qualified personnel for nursing homes and elderly care facilities, resulting in unfilled job positions. 3. The need to upgrade students’ outdated digital skills to meet modern healthcare demands.
