Objectives

Our core vision is to offer young people an opportunity to discover new ways of thinking and working together, using both self-improvement techniques and the dynamics of teamwork. We decided to gather participants from Greece, Romania and Croatia in a natural environment full of greenery by the sea , so that they could experience the essence of the project and how contact with nature and the combination of mindfulness, NLP and positive statements can change us on an individual and collective level. The main objectives are, on the one hand, personal development of the young people, to enhance their self-confidence, ability to manage stress and sense of "they can do it" and, on the other hand, to create real bonds between people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. The essence of our project lies in the practice of working with young people. We don't just want to present them with some theoretical ideas, but to put them at the heart of the action. To walk in groups on paths of mindfulness, to organize themselves experiential workshops on NLP techniques, to learn to offer feedback and share positive statements in a way that will change the way they see themselves. As important as contact with nature is, we want to focus on human relationships. Through their participation in organizing and coordinating activities, young people will become co-designers of the project, feeling responsible and confident. At the same time, they will become aware of seeing their communities as fields for innovative initiatives, using the ideas that will emerge in our workshops. With this project we aim to achieve multiple results. On the one hand, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how their minds and emotions work, learning how to manage stressful situations, recognise their potential and work with different people. On the other hand, we want to "unlock" their creativity and capacity for innovation, so that they can return to their everyday lives and become ambassadors of non-formal learning and environmental awareness. To this end, we are also working with the local Caretta caretta rescue team, showing young people how responsibility towards nature can be combined with personal empowerment. The more they are connected to such initiatives, the more likely they are to implement their own actions in Romania and Croatia, multiplying the positive impact. Ultimately, what we want to achieve is the emergence of a generation of young people who have the willingness, tools and vision to act as catalysts for change in their local communities. Through the experience of living together, the group practice of self-improvement and the broad exchange of cultural elements, young people will experience far beyond the borders of their own country and yet realise how common their aspirations and needs are. Thus, the project is not limited to a beautiful summer experience, but in fact seeks to build foundations for future partnerships and solidarity actions. Our goals are thus condensed in empowering young people as active citizens, deepening self-awareness and mental resilience, and stimulating connections between different geographical communities that ultimately share the same vision for a more creative and supportive world.
