Our project, Youth, Nature, and Well-Being, aims to reconnect young people with nature to improve their physical health, mental well-being, and environmental awareness. Modern lifestyles have led to excessive screen time and a disconnect from the natural world, contributing to rising health issues, stress, and a lack of understanding of sustainability. Through two mobilities in Poland and Greece, we will encourage youth aged 14-17 to develop healthier habits, engage in outdoor activities, and learn about sustainable living. By integrating physical activities, mindfulness practices, and hands-on environmental education, we will empower them to become more active, resilient, and environmentally conscious. This project focuses on tackling several key challenges faced by youth today: Physical Activity, Mental Health Struggles, Limited Environmental Awareness, and a Lack of Hands-On Sustainable Learning. Many young people spend too much time indoors, leading to health problems such as obesity, cardiovascular issues, and poor physical fitness. Anxiety, stress, and depression are rising among youth, partly due to reduced time spent in nature and a lack of meaningful social interactions. Many young people fail to recognize the urgency of environmental issues such as climate change and biodiversity loss. Many young people lack access to practical education on eco-friendly living, sustainability, and nature-based well-being practices. We want to address these issues and empower youth with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to adopt healthier, more sustainable lifestyles. Objectives To help youth understand the link between environmental sustainability and mental well-being. To engage participants in hands-on eco-friendly activities such as recycling initiatives, tree planting, and sustainability workshops. To organize mindfulness exercises, nature walks, and group discussions on stress management and mental health. To encourage participants to collaborate on sustainability and mental health projects, fostering collaboration and leadership. To provide a platform for youth from different backgrounds to share perspectives and learn by doing and learn from each other. To support participants in implementing follow-up actions in their home communities, ensuring the project's impact extends beyond the immediate experience. To promote Erasmus plus opportunities and other educational tools
