Objectives

In a world facing climate challenges, rapid urbanisation and social inequality, youth workers need practical, adaptable and sustainable skills to empower and support communities. Re-joyce in Resilience aims to equip youth workers with eco-building expertise, participatory design skills, and digital storytelling tools, integrating green skills, inclusion, and innovation into youth work. Through hands-on learning, real-world applications and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, the project transforms youth workers into changemakers, fostering climate resilience, ecological awareness, and sustainable leadership. Key Objectives: 1. Enhancing Green Skills in Youth Work: Provide youth workers with practical knowledge in eco-building, bioclimatic design, sustainable architecture and participatory urbanism to support youth-led sustainability initiatives. 2. Strengthening Digital Competencies: Equippe youth workers with digital tools for eco-education though video documentation, social media storytelling and interactive learning materials for wider, long-term impact. 3. Promoting Inclusion & Accessibility: Ensure youth workers with fewer opportunities and participants from underrepresented backgrounds can access, learn and apply sustainable solutions in their communities. 4. Encouraging Local & Global Impact: Empower youth workers to apply their gained knowledge and methods in their local communities and scale up best practices. 5. Fostering Climate-Resilient Communities: Strengthen youth-led sustainability, disaster recovery, community-driven and regenerative design initiatives to combat climate change impacts . 6. Ensuring Long-Term Impact & Replication: Provide open-source learning materials, mentorship and networking opportunities for knowledge transfer beyond the training. By integrating practical sustainability methods, digital learning and community leadership, this project strengthens youth workers and inspires a new generation of changemakers to lead impactful, eco-conscious and inclusive initiatives across Europe, empowering young people to become architects of a regenerative world.
