Objectives

We aimed to develop key competences in older adults related to communication, teamwork, emotional management and learning; to discover good practices and inclusive learning-by-doing methods; and to promote and value senior volunteering by recognising acquired learning and supporting the intergenerational transmission of knowledge and experience.

Background

IMAGINA is a rural non-profit organisation in inland Malaga working on inclusion and non-formal learning for people with fewer opportunities. The project was created to offer learning and mobility opportunities to older adults, recognise their competences and strengthen their active role in the community, connecting their experience with inclusive work carried out together with adults with disabilities.
