The clothing manufacturing industry is in no rush to make transition into sustainable clothing production. The demand for fast fashion is greater than it is for sustainable fashion. Sustainable clothes have a high cost but it has the lack of pesticides and toxic dyes and reduces the carbon footprint. Also the manufacturers of eco clothes provide its workers safe conditions and fair wages, unlike fast fashion manufacturers. Our project will inform as many people as possible that higher price means higher profit, in this case, for them, for the staff working in this field and for our planet. Dissemination of information and raising awareness regarding this matter is essential During the YE our participants will think about new ideas initiatives and plans, which will support sustainable fashion and reduce overproduction Together we will find ways to increase the visibility of these issues and inform and interest as many young people as possible Sustainable fashion is not just a trend. It is a better future for people and less damage for our planet. Our goal is to support sustainable fashion and raise awareness of the environmental and social impacts of obsessive buying and fast fashion and find ways to increase the amount of responsible buyers We will increase the knowledge and interest of young people regarding this topic and develop their competencies and skills which will be useful for them and for the environment. More young people interested in this topic means increased demand and support for sustainable fashion in the future. This project will be a great experience for partner organizations and an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with other youth organizations and think about other ways to support sustainable fashion.
