The objectives of our project are to create environmental awareness in terms of youth work practice, to raise awareness on sustainability issues and to strengthen international collaborations. These objectives aim to increase the environmental awareness of the participants and to ensure that young people realize their social responsibilities. The project aims to provide young people with information on environmentally friendly lifestyles and sustainable development, while also making them sensitive to global and local environmental problems. One of the main objectives of the project in terms of youth work practice is to increase their awareness of environmental problems and climate change. In this context, participants will learn and experience environmentally friendly practices through various activities, and at the same time, they will disseminate what they have learned in their communities when they return to their own countries. Practical activities such as carbon footprint calculation, use of renewable energy sources and planting saplings will encourage participants to become environmentally sensitive individuals. Another important objective is to strengthen cultural and international collaborations. The project will enable young people from different countries to work together and gain different cultural perspectives, and in this process, they will develop teamwork, solution-oriented thinking and communication skills. In this context, our project aims to help young people develop a common language about environmental problems and solutions at an international level. Participants will increase their social responsibility by developing solidarity and understanding between different cultures. Finally, our project aims to support the personal and professional development of participants through the opportunities offered by programs such as Erasmus+. At the end of the project, participants will aim to create lasting impacts on environmental sustainability by disseminating the knowledge and experience they have gained in their own communities.
