Develop Global Competences: ◦ Enhance multilingual communication skills, emphasising English for both general and technical contexts. ◦ Cultivate essential values such as respect, tolerance, responsibility, and teamwork. 4. Build Cross-Curricular Skills: ◦ Strengthen competences like problem-solving, teamwork, autonomy, digital literacy, and effective communication. ◦ Provide hands-on experience with project planning and execution, emphasising adherence to timelines and deadlines. 5. Encourage Environmental Responsibility: ◦ Promote sustainable practices and environmental awareness. ◦ Encourage participants to consider the environmental impact of their activities and adopt responsible behaviors. Technical Objectives: 1. Skill Development in Design and Manufacturing: ◦ Introduce participants to advanced design software (e.g., Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Fusion 360). ◦ Teach surface design and additive manufacturing techniques. ◦ Train participants in generating machining paths using manufacturing software. 2. Practical Application of Engineering Concepts: ◦ Enable automation of Radio Controlled Power Boats and foster hands-on learning in navigation systems. ◦ Emphasise the importance of exploded views and standard drawing regulations for manufacturing. 3. Adherence to Professional Standards: ◦ Instill familiarity with the TKNIKA wheel methodology and project execution steps. ◦ Simulate professional environments that prioritize safety, inclusion, and risk mitigation. Expected Outcomes: • Participants gain a rich, transformative experience, enhancing their technical, social, and emotional skills. • Youth leave the programme equipped with a global outlook, practical knowledge, and values aligned with responsible citizenship and professional excellence. • The project serves as a platform to prepare young people for active participation in a multicultural, industrially advanced, and environmentally conscious world.
