Objectives

This project aims to empower young people by providing them with practical tools to manage their emotions while raising awareness about the importance of mental health in their quality of life through art therapy tools and a focus on the environment. The objective is to create a space where participants not only learn but also become active agents of change. The project is based on three fundamental pillars: mental health, environmental sustainability, and art therapy. These areas align with the priorities of Erasmus+, such as inclusion, diversity, active citizenship, and international cooperation. From the beginning, young people will play a central role, actively participating in the development of activities, sharing their experiences and ideas, and creating collective solutions. Regarding mental health, the project seeks to highlight its importance and equip young people with resources to cope with situations such as anxiety, stress, and depression. Safe spaces will be created for self-expression and experience-sharing, fostering empathy and mutual support. Workshops will be held to identify and modify negative patterns, build healthy habits, and develop long-term action plans while cultivating skills such as introspection, meditation, creative writing, positive affirmations, and visualization. Additionally, issues such as suicide prevention will be addressed, teaching participants to recognize warning signs in both themselves and others. Environmental care is integrated as an essential component of emotional well-being, emphasizing the connection between nature and mental health. Outdoor activities such as hiking will be carried out to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, along with practical workshops on sustainable habits, recycling, and the importance of small individual actions in protecting the environment. Furthermore, the project will reflect on the impact of climate change on emotional well-being and explore collective ways to address it. On the other hand, art therapy will be used as a tool for emotional expression and self-awareness. Through activities such as painting, theater, and creative writing, participants will have the opportunity to explore and reflect on their emotions creatively. Additionally, collaborative projects such as videos or podcasts will be developed, allowing them not only to apply what they have learned but also to spread awareness messages on mental health and sustainability within their communities. The expected impact of this project is significant. It seeks to create a transformative experience for participants, helping them acquire practical tools to manage their emotions and improve their quality of life while fostering values such as tolerance, inclusion, and respect. Furthermore, the project will promote the development of linguistic and digital skills, which are essential for their personal and professional growth. The project results will be widely disseminated on social media and digital platforms, both by participants and the organizations involved. This approach will help extend the project's impact at local, national, and European levels, promoting greater awareness of the importance of mental health, sustainability, and the role of art in emotional well-being. In summary, this project aims to raise awareness among young people about emotional management and its connection to the environment and art, promoting healthy and sustainable habits. Through collaboration and mutual learning, the goal is to demonstrate that caring for mental health, nature, and creativity are essential pillars for building a healthier, more conscious, and inclusive society
