The S.P.A.C.E - Shaping Potential Across Cultural Environments project has the general objective of raising young people's awareness about socially relevant issues and initiating an intercultural dialogue capable of capturing the perceptions, experiences, and expectations of European young people regarding the proposed issues. The specific objectives of the project cover the following aspects, identified from the internal analysis of the associations with their network of young people and then shared at the association level: Delving into current topics: The project aims to explore environmental issues related to sustainability and climate change adaptation in rural areas, inclusion of minority groups from different communities, and the development of digital skills through non-formal education, allowing participating young people to gain a deeper understanding of these crucial topics. Using art as a tool for expression and reflection: Through digital art and performative arts, participants will have the opportunity to express their ideas, reflections, and concerns about the main action of the project, socio-environmental and gender issues in rural areas. The goal is to create a multidisciplinary performance with a digital stage encompassing all phases of the project. Participation in collective creation: Young people will be actively involved in the creative process, heritage knowledge, and nature excursions, with the aim of understanding the human impact on the environment and promoting more sustainable artistic works in relation to intangible assets. Raising awareness and involving the local community: The project aims to actively involve the local community in the process through public events such as artistic actions and public debates along with the participants. The objective is to raise local community awareness and promote collective action to address environmental and social challenges. Urban requalification through art: Through the developed actions, the artistic medium will be used to rediscover, reinterpret, and value abandoned or unused local heritage spaces. Fostering connection with others: The project promotes, through activities and narrations about traditions and popular myths, addressing gender issues, promoting equality, and combating discrimination, imagining a future to build together. Professionalization of participants in youth work: Through non-formal education in decision-making processes, planning, and implementation of project activities, participating young people will have the opportunity to develop key competencies in youth work, such as teamwork, leadership, and effective communication. In summary, the project aims to provide a stimulating and formative environment in which young people can explore relevant topics, express their opinions, and actively contribute to creating a positive impact in the community.
