The Come Together project aims to strengthen cultural mediation through gastronomy, using sensory and immersive experiences to foster intercultural understanding and social inclusion among young people from different countries. Through non-formal education methodologies, participants will explore the connections between gastronomy, migration, and cultural heritage, developing skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and intercultural communication. One of the main objectives is to empower young people as agents of change, providing them with tools to design and implement awareness-raising activities on cultural diversity. By creating immersive gastronomic experiences, they will learn to convey messages about inclusion and heritage in an innovative way, applying sensory storytelling techniques and space design. From the perspective of youth work, the project promotes active participation, ensuring that participants take the lead in creating meaningful learning spaces. It encourages an approach based on experimentation, teamwork, and reflection, strengthening their autonomy and leadership skills. Additionally, digital resources will be developed to replicate the methodologies in different contexts, ensuring that the project's impact extends beyond the in-person activities. Cooperation between youth organizations from different countries will also be strengthened, allowing for the exchange of best practices in cultural mediation and social inclusion. Come Together aims to raise awareness of the importance of diversity in Europe, highlighting gastronomy as a tool for connecting cultures and fostering more inclusive societies.
