This project aims to raise awareness about migration in Europe and promote social cohesion by fostering mutual understanding among young Europeans. It focuses on overcoming prejudices and communication barriers that arise from cultural differences, particularly for migrants and ethnic minorities. By creating a safe space for dialogue, the project will help develop cultural sensitivity, open-mindedness, and inclusivity, addressing challenges such as cultural shock and social isolation. The project uses food as a universal tool for building connections across cultures, demonstrating how sharing meals fosters empathy, respect, and stronger relationships. Through creative methods, participants will learn to appreciate cultural diversity, using food to bridge gaps, resolve conflicts, and create understanding. By promoting these values, the project will contribute to a more inclusive and harmonious society. The project aims to: • Encourage young people from diverse cultural backgrounds to embrace and celebrate their differences through food. • Facilitate cross-cultural dialogue by sharing culinary traditions, fostering mutual understanding. • Highlight the importance of cultural diversity by exploring the history and significance of various cuisines. • Promote a positive and critical approach to migration issues. • Create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, sharing unique food stories. • Empower marginalized groups by showcasing their culinary contributions. • Expand knowledge of culinary traditions through workshops. • Use podcast storytelling to connect food with personal histories and emotions. • Promote food sustainability through minimizing waste. • Develop a digital cookbook celebrating global culinary traditions. • Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and European values like tolerance and diversity. • Stimulate creativity using non-formal education. • Introduce participants to the Erasmus+ program and inspire future engagement. • Prepare participants for Erasmus+ mobilities and the YouthPass certificate.
