Objectives

Pulse for Legacy aims to strengthen the connection between young Europeans through music as a tool for expression and intercultural dialogue. Throughout the exchange, participants will explore various musical cultures and learn to create compositions collaboratively, integrating influences from different traditions and styles. Thus, the exchange aims to: Promote inclusion and diversity: We will bring together young people from different countries and backgrounds to share their experiences and learning in an inclusive environment, fostering respect and appreciation for cultural diversity. Develop artistic and intercultural skills: Through joint musical creation, participants will enhance their creativity, improvisation, and teamwork skills while broadening their understanding of other cultures. Strengthen the sense of belonging to Europe: We will enable young people to experience Europe's cultural richness firsthand, reinforcing their identity as European citizens committed to diversity and cooperation. Encourage open-mindedness and creativity: By exploring new forms of musical expression and adapting their knowledge to a collaborative context, participants will develop a more open and flexible mindset, acquiring useful tools for their personal and professional growth. Beyond the enriching personal experience, we aim for this project to have a lasting impact on participants by equipping them with new skills they can apply in their studies, careers, and daily lives. We want them to learn to work with people from different backgrounds, overcoming cultural and linguistic barriers through the universal language of music. Furthermore, we aspire for this initiative to inspire young people to continue participating in European mobility programs and to keep exploring music as a means of integration, mutual understanding, and, why not? a possible way to make a living.
