Our project "Exploring AI: A Youth Discovery Journey" stems from the need we young people see to learn about the use of AI, and to understand and discuss Artificial Intelligence (AI), a technology that is transforming our world and that will have a crucial impact on our future. We want to go beyond being mere consumers of technology and become informed and critical citizens, capable of understanding the opportunities and challenges that AI presents. EIA seeks, through a youth exchange where we will share an intercultural experience: To empower ourselves: We want to acquire solid knowledge about AI, its different types, applications and ethical and social implications. We seek to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills to analyze AI in an informed way and make responsible decisions about its use. To debate: We are interested in creating a space for dialogue where we can share our opinions, ideas and concerns about AI. We want to explore how AI will affect the labor market and therefore our professional careers, what implications it has for privacy and security, how we can ensure that AI is used ethically and fairly, etc. To learn: We want to familiarize ourselves with AI tools that are relevant to our professional future. We are interested in learning to use platforms such as Google AI Platform, Chat GPT, explore Zapier to automate tasks and discover the potential of Articoolo and Jasper.ia for content creation. To connect: We seek to create a network of young people interested in AI, where we can share experiences, collaborate on future projects and continue learning together. We want to build a bridge between different cultures and perspectives to address the global challenges posed by AI. Exploring Artificial Intelligence is an opportunity for young people to empower ourselves, debate, learn and connect around AI. We want to be protagonists of our future and contribute to building a society where AI is used responsibly and for the benefit of all.
