Inclusion of marginalised young peopleGreen skillsBridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divide

Objectives

With this project, we aim to empower young people to become agents of change in their communities, providing them with practical tools and transformative experiences in the fields of social inclusion, sustainability, and active participation. Through non-formal education methodologies, we want participants not only to learn about these topics but also to experience, apply, and turn them into real actions in their environment. One of the main objectives is to promote social inclusion and equity, creating a space where young people can reflect on diversity, human rights, and the challenges faced by marginalized communities. We want the exchange to be a safe space where prejudices are questioned, barriers are broken, and new narratives based on respect and empathy are built. Another key pillar of the project is developing environmental awareness and sustainability among participants. Through hands-on experiences and direct engagement with the local community, young people will learn how to integrate sustainable habits into their daily lives and lead ecological initiatives in their cities. The Eco-Challenge, one of the core activities of the exchange, will allow them to implement real solutions for sustainability. We also aim to strengthen youth participation and active citizenship, providing participants with tools to engage in the social and political life of their communities. In the European Youth Parliament Simulation, young people will not only debate inclusive policies but also develop key skills such as argumentation, negotiation, and teamwork decision-making. From a youth work perspective, this project focuses on enhancing experiential learning, self-expression, and initiative-taking. We do not want participants to just listen and observe; we want them to lead processes, work in teams, make decisions, and generate real impact. Additionally, their personal and professional development will be strengthened by improving skills such as intercultural communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
