With the implementation of the "Hip Hop State of Mind (HHSOM)" project, we seek to achieve a series of objectives that directly impact the personal, social and artistic development of the participating youth and their sending associations, aligned with good practices in the field of youth work. -Promote non-formal learning and teamwork Through collaboration in co-creation activities and horizontal learning, a safe atmosphere will be created where participants will develop social and communication skills essential for their personal and professional growth. -Empower youth through artistic self-expression A safe space will be provided where participants can explore and develop their creativity through rap, breakdancing, graffiti and DJing and understand the power of social and emotional transformation that the various disciplines of hip hop have. -Promote inclusion and diversity The project will be open to young people from different backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, guaranteeing an environment of respect, integration and equity. The project will actively work to combat stereotypes and discrimination within Hip Hop, promoting a more equitable representation of gender and cultural background. -Promoting sustainability and ecological awareness Sustainable practices worked on by Back to the Roots will be integrated into other projects and aligned with the project objectives. -Developing leadership and teamwork skills Through the collective organization of a Jam session that will connect with the local population and various local entities. -Creating artistic networks and intercultural connections The creation of a community of emerging artists will be facilitated who will be able to continue collaborating even after the project, giving continuity to the work carried out by the partnership in Hip Hop, artistic expression and social inclusion, and reinforcing the long-term impact of these collaborations. Ultimately, the HHSOM project is designed to offer young people a transformative experience, helping them develop both personal and artistic skills, while reinforcing social inclusion, leadership and sustainability. Through artistic collaboration, leadership development and non-formal education methodologies, the project empowers young people to continue using Hip Hop as a tool for self-expression and social change beyond the duration of the exchange. Furthermore, by ensuring the continuity of networking between partners in Hip Hop, artistic expression and social inclusion projects, HHSOM contributes to the development of innovative and sustainable initiatives in these fields.
