The project “Beyond Borders: Towards a more connected Europe through language” seeks to promote linguistic intercomprehension and intercultural education as key tools to strengthen communication, cooperation and inclusion in Europe. In a context where English has become the lingua franca, this project aims to demonstrate that linguistic diversity can be a bridge, rather than a barrier, favoring mutual understanding and social cohesion. Through the implementation of the project, we want the participants to - Develop linguistic intercomprehension skills, understanding and communicating with speakers of different languages without relying solely on English. - Strengthen their intercultural competencies, learning to manage cultural diversity in a positive and enriching way. - Promote social inclusion, ensuring the participation of young people with fewer opportunities in international experiences. - Create transnational youth networks, fostering cooperation and mutual learning among young people from different countries. - Foster active citizenship and European identity, reinforcing the sense of belonging to a diverse and multilingual Europe. - Increase their interest in mobility and non-formal education, motivating them to participate in other Erasmus+ programs and international cooperation initiatives. Through these objectives, the project will contribute to the construction of a more diverse and multilingual Europe.
