Objectives

The project "Youth for the Europe of Tomorrow: Rights and Dialogue" is promoted by the Federation of Youth Associations for European Mobility, in collaboration with organizations from various European countries. Youth organizations and public entities from Spain, Greece, Italy, Malta, Germany, and Portugal will participate, with the aim of strengthening the sense of belonging to Europe and fostering multicultural dialogue. The youth exchange will take place in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) from October 5 to 10, 2025. The project focuses on the defense of Human Rights, which represent the fundamental values of the European Union, its role as a guarantor of peace and security in Europe and the world, the protection and respect for human rights against abuse and war, participatory and representative democracy, equality of rights and gender, as well as freedom of movement, thought, information, and expression. Project Objectives: Promote critical thinking: We aim to encourage young people to reflect on historical and political events affecting Europe, guiding them toward a critical awareness of the importance of safeguarding peace, defending universal rights, combating discrimination, and protecting freedom of expression. Non-formal education for social skills: Through innovative methodologies, we seek to improve young people's social and interpersonal skills, promoting inclusion, mutual respect, empathy, and non-discrimination. Enhance cooperation and intercultural understanding: We facilitate collaboration among participants from different ethnic backgrounds, fostering attitudes of solidarity, mutual respect, and intercultural dialogue, as well as respect for minorities and human rights. Promote inclusive practices: We aim to involve disadvantaged youth in all scheduled activities, ensuring their active participation. Develop personal, social, and civic skills: Our goal is to stimulate critical thinking, promote creativity, improve tolerance, and cultivate empathy, thereby shaping active and supportive European citizens. Boost European youth mobility: We recognize mobility as a source of intercultural learning and empowerment, especially for young people with fewer opportunities. Strengthen European identity: Through the exchange of ideas and thoughts, we aim to highlight the importance of the European dimension, particularly in times of crisis, engaging the emerging citizenship of the Europe of the future. This project seeks not only to educate but also to inspire young people to become agents of change in their communities, promoting European values and contributing to a fairer and more inclusive society.
