Objectives

This project is designed to raise awareness of young people on climate change, disaster preparedness and sustainability and to actively involve them in social change processes. -The project aims to educate young people on climate change, natural disaster preparedness and sustainability. Participants will gain knowledge on these issues as well as skills to contribute to their communities and environment. This aims to increase young people's awareness of social responsibility and enable them to develop an environmentally sensitive approach. Young people from different cultures will be encouraged to come together and develop mutual understanding, respect and co-operation. This process will allow young people to be free from prejudices and to value different cultural perspectives. Intercultural interaction is of great importance for the participants to broaden their worldview and work together to find solutions to global problems. -The project aims to develop young people's skills to take leadership in their communities and raise awareness on environmental change. During the project, young people will take an active role in various activities, participate in group work and discussions, thus developing their leadership, decision-making and advocacy skills. -Participants from disadvantaged groups with limited opportunities will be included in the project. Special support will be provided to these participants and the language and cultural awareness trainings they need will be provided. In this way, it is aimed to prevent social exclusion and provide equal opportunities. -Increasing the awareness of young people on environmental sustainability and guiding them towards more environmentally friendly lifestyles is one of the important objectives of the project. It is aimed to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and practical solutions to deal with environmental problems and to encourage them to advocate these issues in their own communities. -The project aims to establish a strong cooperation between participants and organisations from different countries. This cooperation will continue not only during the project but also after the project. Participants will build international networks by working with people from different cultures and will be able to use these networks in future cooperation opportunities. -Participants will gain skills to organise trainings and advocacy in their communities on issues such as climate change and disaster preparedness. In this way, young people will be enabled to take an active role in social change processes and this information will be disseminated.
