Objectives

The attitudes shown by individuals towards those diagnosed with breast cancer often lead to the social exclusion of these individuals, which in turn negatively impacts the progression of the disease. Observations have indicated that skills development and activities can positively influence the treatment outcomes for affected individuals. Through training and community awareness, we aim to positively affect the lives of many. This project is designed to provide youth workers and young people with training that enhances their skills, enabling them to effectively raise awareness among a larger number of youths. By equipping youth workers and young participants with accurate information, they will be able to reach more individuals in their communities. The objectives of this project include: Raising Awareness Among Youth in Different Countries: Educating young people about breast cancer, its risks, and preventive measures. Understanding the Relationship Between Breast Cancer and Activity Participation: Exploring how engaging in activities can positively impact individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Developing Workshop Design Skills Using Experiential Learning Techniques: Equipping participants with the ability to create impactful workshops that promote understanding and awareness. Enhancing the Quality of Youth-Led Initiatives on Breast Cancer: Supporting young people in conducting high-quality awareness campaigns and activities. Facilitating Networking and Collaboration Among Youth Workers Globally: Encouraging connections and partnerships between youth workers from different countries to share best practices and resources. This project will promote the sharing of experiences related to the symptoms of breast cancer and the varying approaches taken in different countries, fostering a robust network of knowledge exchange. At the end of the project, each participant will be required to raise awareness among at least ten different young individuals about the insights gained from their training. This approach ensures that the project reaches a wider audience, amplifying its impact and fostering a more informed community around breast cancer awareness.
