The "Capture the Well-Being of Youth with Digital Balance" project is designed to equip youth workers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and strategies to address the challenges posed by the digital world in their work with young people. As digital technology increasingly influences daily life, young people face new risks such as misinformation, cyberbullying, digital addiction, and online privacy threats. Youth workers often lack the proper training and resources to support young people in developing responsible digital habits and ensuring their well-being in online spaces. This project aims to bridge this gap by providing comprehensive, structured, and practice-based training, enabling youth workers to integrate digital balance, media literacy, and online safety strategies into their youth work practices. At its core, this project seeks to empower youth workers to become digital balance ambassadors, helping young people navigate the complexities of the digital world while maintaining a healthy balance between their online and offline lives. The project will focus on enhancing digital literacy, promoting responsible media consumption, and fostering online safety awareness. Through hands-on training, peer collaboration, and interactive methodologies, participants will develop critical thinking skills to evaluate online content, fact-check information, and guide young people in recognizing fake news, disinformation, and digital manipulation. A crucial objective of this project is to ensure inclusivity and equal access to digital literacy education, particularly for young people from marginalized communities, rural areas, and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Digital inequality is a growing concern, with many young people lacking the resources, guidance, or safe spaces to engage in digital education effectively. By training youth workers to adapt digital well-being education to different social contexts, the project will ensure that all young people, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to develop digital skills and online resilience. Additionally, the project aims to modernize youth work by integrating digital tools and strategies that reflect the current technological landscape. Traditional youth work methods often do not fully address the digital realities young people face today, making it essential for youth workers to embrace new teaching methodologies and interactive learning approaches. This project will introduce gamified learning techniques, media literacy simulations, cybersecurity exercises, and AI-driven digital safety tools, helping youth workers engage young people more effectively in discussions about digital balance and online security. Beyond individual capacity building, the project will also focus on strengthening the institutional impact of youth work organizations. By ensuring that digital well-being education becomes a core component of youth programs, we aim to raise the overall quality and recognition of youth work in this field. Organizations participating in the project will develop sustainable strategies for digital literacy education, implement training toolkits and resources, and create long-term partnerships with schools, digital education experts, and policymakers to advocate for digital balance education at the national and European levels. Furthermore, this project will foster international collaboration among youth organizations, enabling best practice exchanges and creating a network of youth workers dedicated to promoting digital well-being. The training will provide participants with opportunities to engage in peer learning, share challenges and solutions, and co-develop innovative approaches to teaching digital balance. These connections will not only enhance the personal and professional development of youth workers but will also pave the way for future Erasmus+ projects focusing on digital literacy, media education, and youth empowerment. Finally, the project aims to ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of its outcomes. By developing a Digital Well-Being Toolkit, an online learning platform, and a network of trained youth workers, we will create a foundation for continued engagement beyond the project’s official duration. Youth workers will be encouraged to implement local multiplier events, mentor fellow educators, and integrate digital balance strategies into their everyday work with young people. Additionally, follow-up activities, impact evaluations, and long-term mentorship programs will help sustain the progress achieved during the training. In conclusion, the "Capture the Well-Being of Youth with Digital Balance" project is an ambitious and necessary initiative that addresses the urgent need for digital well-being education in youth work. By equipping youth workers with the right tools, methodologies, and strategies, we aim to create lasting change in how digital literacy and online safety are integrated into youth
