The project aims to strengthen the competencies of 32 youth workers in integrating digital tools with non-formal education (NFE) methodologies to enhance grassroots youth work practices. By equipping youth workers with practical digital tools, interactive methodologies, and structured educational resources, the project ensures that young people develop key competencies, including critical thinking, digital literacy, environmental awareness, and healthy lifestyle habits through engaging and interactive learning experiences. The main objectives of the project are: Develop the digital competencies of 32 youth workers by training them in GooseChase, Mentimeter, and other apps promoting interactive learning, including green habits, and well-being. This will make NFE more engaging and accessible for young people in youth centres and grassroots initiatives. Enhance the use of digital tools in youth work by ensuring that youth workers can integrate mobile-based and online educational tools into their everyday practice, increasing engagement and participation among young people. Create practical educational resources, including: A video tutorial (2-3 minutes long) explaining the role of digital tools in youth work and grassroots education. A 2-month structured curriculum (consisting of 8 interactive sessions) to support youth workers in implementing digital and interactive learning methodologies in their local youth centres/organisations. Strengthen grassroots youth work practices by empowering youth workers to apply innovative digital methodologies in their local communities. Participants will adapt and implement NFE activities using digital tools, ensuring greater accessibility and participation among young people. Foster networking and peer learning by creating a community of youth workers who will exchange best practices and collaborate on innovative approaches to integrating digital tools into NFE. Ensure the sustainability and visibility of Erasmus+ by developing dissemination strategies that promote project outcomes at local, national, and European levels. This includes: - Social media campaigns to share project results. - Publication of the 2-month curriculum on partner websites and youth work platforms. - Follow-up activities, where each participant trains at least 10 young people in their local communities, ensuring the knowledge transfer to at least 320 young people. Impact on Youth Work Practice Practical application of digital tools in youth work, making NFE more engaging, interactive, and accessible for young people. Capacity building for youth workers, equipping them with innovative methodologies to apply in youth centres, workshops, and grassroots initiatives. Sustainable impact, ensuring that youth workers continue using the training materials, digital tools, and structured curriculum in their daily work. Stronger European cooperation, fostering partnerships among youth workers and organizations to exchange best practices and develop future projects within Erasmus+. By implementing this project, youth workers will gain the necessary tools, methodologies, and digital skills to create more engaging and impactful NFE activities, ensuring a lasting effect on their youth work practices and the young people they support.
