The project ECO-ENTREPRENEUR: Young Innovators for Sustainability is designed to equip 30 youth workers from 7 countries with cutting-edge skills in eco-entrepreneurship, sustainability-driven business models, and circular economy principles, enabling them to train, mentor, and empower young people to create their own green businesses and social enterprises. Through hands-on training, innovative methodologies, and real-world applications, we will turn youth workers into game-changers who can guide the next generation of eco-entrepreneurs and sustainability leaders. What we aim to achieve: - 30 youth workers trained in eco-business models, circular economy strategies, impact entrepreneurship, and sustainable leadership, ready to implement their learning directly into their work. - 70% of participants will commit to organizing at least one local workshop, mentoring program, or training session post-mobility, ensuring that at least 300 young people gain access to sustainability-focused entrepreneurship education. - 1 open-access digital toolkit packed with business simulations, circular economy case studies, hands-on activities, and best practices, available for 500+ youth workers across Europe, helping them integrate eco-entrepreneurship into their programs. - 1 online collaboration platform (LinkedIn or Slack) connecting 100+ youth workers, trainers, and young eco-entrepreneurs to foster continuous learning, partnerships, and future Erasmus+ projects. - At least 5 sustainability-focused Erasmus+ follow-up projects initiated by the consortium, ensuring that the impact extends beyond this mobility. - 1000+ people reached through digital campaigns, local events, and online dissemination, spreading awareness about green business opportunities and youth-led sustainability solutions. Why this matters: Right now, youth unemployment and the climate crisis are two of the biggest challenges in Europe—but what if we told young people that they could solve both at the same time? This project is about turning sustainability into opportunity, giving youth workers the knowledge and tools to help young people launch careers that make a real difference. We don’t want eco-conscious youth to just “care” about the planet:we want them to lead the green transition, start businesses, and create impact. By training youth workers as sustainability mentors, we ensure that thousands of young people across Europe get the guidance, inspiration, and practical know-how to become the next generation of eco-entrepreneurs, social innovators, and sustainability champions. By the end of this project, we won’t just have trained youth workers—we will have created a movement of green entrepreneurship ambassadors who will continue to inspire, support, and empower young people for years to come.
