Objectives

The Education Myth Busters project aims to equip youth workers with innovative methodologies, digital literacy skills, and entrepreneurial education strategies to improve their capacity to engage and support young people in an evolving educational and professional landscape. The project focuses on debunking myths surrounding learning, AI, and entrepreneurship while promoting self-directed learning, critical thinking, and adaptability among youth. From a youth work practice perspective, the project seeks to: - Connect young people with the EU and promote civic participation, ensuring that youth workers can educate young people about Erasmus+, European youth policies, and democratic engagement. The project will challenge misconceptions about the accessibility of European programs and provide practical tools to increase participation in EU-funded opportunities, empowering young people to become active European citizens. - Improve youth workers' ability to integrate AI and digital tools into non-formal education, ensuring young people develop digital literacy and responsible AI usage. Introduce science-backed learning methodologies, such as metacognition, gamification, and experiential learning, to enhance engagement and knowledge retention. - Foster an entrepreneurial mindset among youth by shifting perspectives from business creation to proactive problem-solving, innovation, and adaptability in any professional context. - Empower youth workers to help young people overcome self-sabotage and fear of failure, encouraging resilience, confidence, and goal-oriented learning. - Expand professional networks among youth workers, fostering international collaboration, best practice exchange, and future Erasmus+ partnerships. By achieving these objectives, the project ensures that youth workers can better support young people in navigating modern education, employment, and digital transformation challenges, contributing to high-quality and forward-thinking youth work across Europe.
