Objectives

This project was born from the need detected by youth workers in many young people to work, transversally in their lives, on emotional and affective needs; as well as self-knowledge, self-concept and self-esteem; which inevitably leads to a more optimal control of their lives and an awareness of learning situations, patterns, and environments that we undoubtedly repeat because our brain has apprehended them as a way of survival. Fortunately, in recent years the world of self-knowledge is increasingly booming, but not everyone has the tools, knowledge or properly qualified personnel to guide their process within their reach. That is why the demand for more tools and methodology to apply them to the proposed topic was detected in young people and youth workers. The idea was to develop a project so that youth workers could train, from the European and international context, to work on emotions, to be able to recognize them in oneself, as well as know how to identify them and relate from empathy with others and with ourselves. . And know tools to promote these skills in young people. And, more specifically, the objectives that we want to achieve with the implementation of this project are: 1. Train youth professionals to help young people reflect on their learning throughout life and how experiences have marked us and made us acquire certain skills. It is a twist in the role-loop of victimhood and what to do with the life circumstances I have, how to get the maximum potential out of them and/or change them from my starting point, and what skills I have acquired thanks to them. 2. Create a network of contacts at European level to facilitate and motivate interpersonal relationships between participants and organizations and in general between each participant and their peer group, promoting quality relationships, since one can offer quality if one first knows oneself himself and relates healthily to himself rather than to another. 3. Help you know how to identify and manage your emotions and get out of comfort zones and patterns. We will work on different tools and methodologies to VERBALIZE and other forms of expression of all feelings and raise awareness among workers, so that they know how to guide their young people towards awareness of comfort zones/patterns that we repeat without realizing it. 4. Know techniques and tools to help young people quiet their minds and be able to live more in the present, create routines of healthy habits. If European life has something in common, it is the speed and effusiveness with which it is lived. We want to raise awareness of how dangerous this pace of life is. We will do it through individual and group dynamics, since sometimes we are not able to call ourselves to calm down and it is good to know how to manage it from the outside to be able to help young people in case of a situation of stress, anxiety, etc. 5. Bring participants closer to innovative and striking self-knowledge tools that explain emotions and concerns, to gamify work with young people through a simple and striking technique. 6. Encourage the improvement of your personal and social skills. Interpersonal relationships inevitably involve a quality relationship with ourselves, as we have mentioned previously. 7. Provide youth workers with tools to raise awareness of fears to be able to face challenges and goals. We will provide leadership skills to face personal fears with humility and emotional control, as well as develop empathy for others and their most challenging situations. 8. Share experiences and participatory and/or social change initiatives. Generate a feeling of community and social cohesion as youth workers, providing our group of users with the space and circumstances of sufficient comfort to act in their realities. 9. Encourage youth workers to use tools to connect body and mind in harmony with nature. 10. Develop methodologies and activities that enhance these skills and competencies in the young people of our realities This project is part of Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ program with the aim of offering an INNOVATIVE training experience to youth workers. Through participatory methodologies and the use of DIGITAL tools, we seek to enhance the impact on LOCAL communities and strengthen the professional development of participants. Furthermore, this TC aims to consolidate the connection between non-formal education and youth work in Europe, ensuring effective application of learning in professional practice.
