Objectives

When discussing the biggest challenges of collaboration, many of us often point to other people as the main obstacle. This reflects a tendency to focus on the differences that separate us, rather than appreciating our intellectual diversity. Each of us is uniquely gifted in how we process information, ask questions, and what motivates and inspires us. To help the groups of young people we work with not only become more effective in their collaborative projects but also become advocates for a new paradigm based on collaboration, the partners recognized the need to equip themselves with tools for Collaborative Intelligence. Collaborative intelligence is rooted in valuing everyone’s cognitive styles (auditory, visual, kinesthetic), giving each person the opportunity to make a difference. To achieve this, the project aims to provide youth workers with graphic facilitation skills and other embodied learning tools that allow them to nurture these aspects and integrate them into their work. 1. Provide youth workers with graphic facilitation and kinesthetic learning techniques that enable them to support young people in developing inclusive collaborative initiatives 2. Encourage the exchange of skills and good practices within the consortium, promoting a holistic approach to education for sustainability, both in methodology and content 3. Disseminate Collaborative Intelligence tools in the networks of partner organisations and among youth workers On a broader level, this training seeks to enhance the abilities of youth workers to communicate, facilitate, and convey messages effectively in their work with young people in the field of sustainability. Ultimately, it aims to equip young people with the skills needed to lead a just transition towards a socially and environmentally sustainable society.
