Objectives

The project seeks, as a FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE, to collect theoretical and practical knowledge in traditional construction, and to train youth workers, and therefore young Europeans, in techniques adapted to the needs of different environments and contemporary construction standards. Specifically, in this project, mud and straw, together with wood and lime, will be used as a common thread, as basic materials of any construction. The SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of this project are: 1. To connect the pillars of traditional construction with the needs and standards of modern construction 2. To encourage the use of these bioconstructive techniques among young Europeans 3. To generate simple resources to consult, to replicate useful techniques in current environments 4. To promote the intrinsic values in traditional construction within the European youth 5. To increase youth employability with a new professional development linked to the contact with nature 6. To stimulate the commitment of youth workers to act as agents of change for an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable development.
