The project “Youth on the Move: Connecting, Learning and Leading” aims to strengthen the competences of youth workers through an intensive one-week training experience, where non-formal and informal learning methodologies will be combined. The main objective is to improve the quality of youth work at local, regional and European level, by developing skills, knowledge and innovative approaches that enable them to better meet the needs of the young people they work with. From the perspective of youth work practice, this project focuses on several specific objectives: 1. Strengthening the professional competences of youth workers: Through practical training sessions, group dynamics and reflection exercises, participants will improve essential skills such as effective communication, intercultural mediation, leadership and conflict resolution. 2. Fostering intercultural learning and social inclusion: By bringing together youth workers from different countries and contexts, the project will promote an exchange of experiences and strategies to address cultural diversity, the integration of young immigrants and the promotion of equal opportunities. 3. Explore and implement innovative methodologies in youth work: Digital tools, gamification techniques and creative approaches will be introduced to energize learning and enhance the active participation of young people in their communities. 4. Develop a community of practice among youth workers: Networking and transnational collaboration will be strengthened, facilitating the creation of alliances and the launching of joint projects in the future. 5. Raise awareness about sustainability and environmental education: The project will include good ecological practices in its activities and promote strategies that participants can apply in their organizations to reduce their environmental impact. 6. Provide participants with tools to improve youth participation: Strategies will be worked on to promote youth empowerment, democratic participation and community leadership, ensuring that they are active agents of change in their environments. 7. Improving adaptability and resilience in youth work: Strategies will be addressed to deal with challenges such as work stress, emotional fatigue and managing difficult situations in working with young people at risk of social exclusion. 8. Ensuring the sustainability and long-term impact of learning: Through evaluation, reflection and planning sessions, participants will design action plans to apply what they have learned in their daily practice and share it with their organizations and communities. Ultimately, this project aims to raise the quality of youth work through the development of key competencies and the generation of a lasting impact in the participating organizations. At the end of the training, youth workers will be better prepared to face current challenges, implement innovative approaches and contribute to the development of more empowered and committed young people in their environment.
