The project aims to create a lasting impact by equipping youth workers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to promote gender equality in their communities. Through this initiative, the goal is to foster a generation of youth workers who are well-prepared to address gender-related challenges and implement effective educational strategies. By enhancing their professional competencies, participants will become agents of change, capable of designing and executing initiatives that empower young people and encourage inclusive practices. One of the key objectives is to increase awareness and understanding of gender equality issues within youth work. Participants will explore modern perspectives on gender roles, discrimination, and social inclusion, comparing approaches from different European countries. This comparative analysis will help youth workers develop a more nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by young people and the strategies that can be used to address them. Another fundamental aim is to equip youth workers with practical tools and methodologies to integrate gender equality into their work. By participating in the training, they will gain access to innovative resources, including the "Gender Equality Education Toolkit" and the “Practical Guide to Gender Rights and Resources.” These materials will provide concrete guidance on how to implement gender-sensitive approaches, ensuring that the knowledge acquired during the training is effectively applied in real-world contexts. The project also seeks to encourage active citizenship and engagement among youth workers and the young people they support. By fostering a sense of responsibility and empowerment, participants will be motivated to take an active role in advocating for gender equality within their communities. Through structured discussions, collaborative projects, and networking opportunities, they will develop strategies for promoting social change and influencing policy at both local and national levels. A strong emphasis is placed on creating a multicultural and inclusive learning environment. The Training Course will bring together youth workers from various backgrounds, allowing them to share experiences, exchange best practices, and build meaningful partnerships. This intercultural exchange will not only enhance their professional development but also contribute to a broader movement towards equality and diversity in youth work across Europe. In the long term, the project aims to establish a sustainable impact by ensuring that the methodologies and tools developed are widely disseminated and accessible beyond the initial group of participants. Through follow-up activities, multiplier events, and the continued support of partner organizations, the project’s outcomes will be integrated into the ongoing work of youth organizations, maximizing its reach and effectiveness. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the project will contribute to a more inclusive and gender-equal society, reinforcing the role of youth work as a catalyst for positive change.
