Objectives

The Queer Hub project seeks to strengthen the capacities of youth workers in the inclusion and support of LGBTQI+ youth, providing methodological tools and concrete strategies that they can apply in their organizations and communities. Through this training course, the aim is to improve the quality of youth work, ensuring that spaces for youth are safe, accessible and inclusive for all people. The main objective of the project is to train 24 youth workers to integrate an inclusive approach into their work methodologies, fostering a deeper understanding of LGBTQI+ diversity and equipping them with practical resources to create environments in which queer youth can participate without barriers. In addition to receiving training, participants are expected to become agents of change in their own communities, multiplying the lessons learned and contributing to the structural transformation of youth work in Europe. From a youth work perspective, Queer Hub has several specific objectives: first, it aims to provide 24 youth workers with pedagogical tools and non-formal education methodologies that will enable them to address diversity from an intersectional approach.Through practical learning and the exchange of experiences, participants will improve their ability to create safe spaces in their organizations, design more accessible activities and intervene in situations of discrimination or exclusion. Another key objective is to strengthen the international network of youth workers committed to inclusion. The training course will not only enable individual learning for each participant, but will also foster transnational collaboration, facilitating the creation of connections between professionals from different countries and the consolidation of a supportive community that will continue to share resources and best practices beyond the project.
