JAF seeks to empower young people to influence youth public policies, addressing the disconnect between these policies and their real needs. JAF offers a unique learning experience for young people. We meet virtually and in person to create spaces for youth participation, formulating proposals that address crucial issues for young people. Its main objectives are: 1) To encourage the active participation of young people in the formulation of local public policies, providing them with tools and spaces to express their ideas and needs. 2) To develop young people's skills in areas such as social research, communication, teamwork, and leadership. 3) To promote dialogue and collaboration between young people and representatives of local governments, facilitating the implementation of proposals that respond to the needs of youth. 4) To create a network of active young people who will continue working to promote youth participation.
