"Standing while seated" aims to highlight and challenge age-based discrimination against young people by providing them with a platform to express their experiences through theatre. We seek to foster dialogue between youth (13-17) and decision-makers, reversing traditional power dynamics by placing young voices at the centre. The main objectives include: facilitating artistic reflection with 10 young participants, creating and performing a theatrical piece, engaging diverse audiences, and initiating structured discussions with local policymakers. This project promotes youth participation, inclusion, and democratic engagement, ensuring their perspectives are heard and valued in key societal spaces.
